  • The card you currently have (both sides if digital)
  • The N-400 filing fee

Depending on the specifics of their case, certain candidates could be asked to submit extra documents, such as:

  • Documents attesting to one’s marital status, such as a marriage license or divorce decree
  • You might need to provide two 2 by 2-inch passport images if you reside abroad.

Is travel possible while waiting for your N-400?
